Teacher Appreciation Day Sale!

Hi friends! Gosh, I feel like I fell of the face of the earth. I've been so overwhelmed with work and family life that I needed to take a little hiatus from blogging. I feel so out of the loop and I am definitely looking forward to summer in order to recharge my batteries.

I'm sure you've heard by now that TPT is throwing a Teacher Appreciation Sale. Our job is never easy and it definitely takes a special person to be a teacher- so it's very nice to be recognized and honored every once in a while ;)

I'm Still Here....

Hi friends! Gosh, I've missed you all so much! I feel like I've been away forever! I have been super busy this past month with everything under the sun. My sister and her family visited for three weeks so you can say I really became used to "stepping away" from the computer- a little too much I guess. We did some fun Valentine and Dr. Suess activities which I'll share with you soon...better late than never ;)

I've also been addicted to Instagram! The word addicted might even be an understatement....YIKES! Are you on there? If so, leave your link in the comment section so I can check you out. The name of my profile is "Sugar&Flavor". I sell cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, and pies to friends and family in my spare time. 

I'm also hoping to open up an etsy shop (still weighing my options, I heard they charge too much) selling party favors, cupcake containers, paper straws, washi tape (craft tape), & more! I've always enjoyed baking and party planning and I am really excited for this new venture...though I do question where I'm going to find the time. Don't fret, I will definitely continue to post classroom pictures on there too :)

You can use this for both Valentine's Day and Mother's Day...and heck, maybe even Father's Day...just change up the colors of the cups :)

I provided two options. A basic one: "I Love You a Latte" shown above and one for Mom & Dad shown below. 

I also separated mom/ dad if you'd like to use this craft for Mother's Day or Father's Day

And for Dad

One of my sweetie's is being raised by his grandparents, so I also included "Grandpa & Grandma", as well as "Auntie & Uncle". I've also separated them "grandpa", "grandma", etc. in case you needed that too. 

Finally, I've included a few writing pages & the spelling change "Mum" for my Australian friends :)

Currently....February!

It's that time again! Where did January go?! Sigh. 

I'm linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade to bring you this month's currently. I'm going to make this kind of short because my hubby and I are heading out and he's looking at me with his evil eye whenever I say 5 more minutes! LOL! MEN!

I am loving the fact that the weekend is here! This past week has been CRAZY for me! My school is piloting a program in our district to unpack the CC standards. We're also creating a pacing guide for CC standards which include activities & assessments- and all of it just wants to make my head spin! My admin really enjoys volunteering us for everything!! 

I am hoping to also take a personal day next week to head to the spa! I normally try to go every 3 months, but with everything going on I can't even remember the last time I went!! I definitely need some "Me" time.  Is there anything special you all like to do to treat yourselves?

Anyway, I am also SUPER excited for the TPT sale! There have been a few things I've been wanting to pick up :)
