There are 30 pages in all- 15 Math and 15 Language Arts sheets. All sheets require cutting and pasting. I use them for early finishers but you can also use them for morning work, homework, centers, etc. I've included a wide range of skills from basic skills to more challenging ones, so there is definitely something for everyone here.

I've included a page from this packet as a freebie just for you!

But that's not all. I will be giving away TWO copies to two lucky winners. So leave a comment with your email and I will pick a winner tomorrow :)

March already? Sheesh! I can't keep up!

I'm linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade to bring you this month's Currently…

Did you shop the TpT 3 Million Teachers Strong Sale? Did you go a little crazy? I sure did. I had to give myself a budget because I knew I was going to go a little crazy. I picked up a TON of clip art, as well as some fabulous centers and morning work for my class. Now I need to go back into my account and actually start downloading everything….sigh.

I'm also totally craving a cronut!! Cronuts are sweeping the nation!! Well, ok not exactly- I'm exaggerating. But I'm totally in love with them.

It's a doughnut and a croissant in one! YUM!!!

Five for Friday!

It's been such a looonnnggg week!! I am so thankful it's Friday!

Last week Thursday, one of our 2nd graders passed away from complications of the chicken pox. She was my student in Kindergarten. I was deeply shocked and saddened. Her family is having financial difficulties paying for her services which makes things even more heartbreaking. Our school has banned together to put some funds together for them, but I'm not sure it's enough, and I just feel so helpless. I met with her mom yesterday and she just held me and cried. I offered my prayers and I told her that her daughter is an angel in Heaven now watching over her and her family. If you are the praying kind, I would greatly appreciate prayers for her family and our community. Thank- you!

We had so much fun with our President's Day Unit, but Boo! to me for only remembering to bring my camera yesterday. We made these cute little crafts from Teri over at A Cupcake for the Teacher.

You can find them here.

This week I have been wrapping up my blog design with the fabulous Becca from Jumping Jax Designs. She is amazing and so very patient with me! I am so excited!!! Here's a sneak peak!

What do you think?

I donated a packet for this fundraiser "Hope for Tony". Nicole from Learning Lab is putting it together for her dear friend Tony. I am sad to report the fundraiser is not doing as well as we hoped. If you would kindly share we'd greatly appreciate it. Thank- you.

Meet Tony Thompson. He 28 years old and is going in for brain surgery next week to remove a cavernous angioma from his brain stem. Tony has suffered three brain bleeds in the last 2 1/2 years and has fought his way back each time. This surgery is needed to prevent a fourth bleed in order to save his life. Prayers, thoughts, and positive vibes are needed as he begins his travel across the country for his surgery next week. Tony is a talented artist and an active soccer player. He is thoughtful and kind. He just donated all 18 inches of his hair to Locks of Love.

Please take a few minutes to read more of Tony's story and to leave him a few words of encouragement. The link is in the first comment. (If you are having trouble finding the link, the TpT store's name is "Help for an Artist Hope for a Friend".

I posted a new item this week….yipeee! It is from my Pocket Chart Series set. Some of my ELL kids are still having a hard time with sight words, so I try to provide as many opportunities for practice as I can. I use them as an independent center, but you can definitely use it for whole group instruction as well. I hope to blog about it real soon and share more pictures of my kids in action.

Simply print, cut, laminate and place in your pocket chart. There are 3 different worksheets for differentiated instruction and a mini reader book included. Here's a sample:

You can find them here.
